Mr A & Mr G welcome you in the Wonderful World of Hollycoon, a small
Maine Coon cats cattery located in the Old Port area of Genoa just a few
steps far from the famous Aquarium. Our cats live in the house with us,
loved and pampered as members of the family. We do not have cages, and
each cat has free access to every room of our house. Our cattery pays a
lot of attention to the protection of health, all our cats are tested
genetically for the cardiomyopathy (HCM), for the polycystic kidney (PKD),
tested for the hip dysplasia (HD) and monitored periodically for HCM,
PKD and for more common diseases such as FIV and feline FELV. Our
cattery is recognized by the FIFe and ANFI (the Italian
Government-recognized cat association), it is a member of the Italian
Maine Coon Club and it has joined the Italian's Feline HCM Medical
Observatory. We participate to the major FIFe exhibitions to select the
best characteristics and character of a race that still retains the same
look of his wild originality!
